SH instructors visit Tri-Rivers
Tri-Rivers Career Center in Marion, OH is recognized as providing excellent career and technical education (CTE), with the state’s Lt. Governor often turning to them for guidance in CTE requirements. So when Swiss Hills instructors in the automotive, manufacturing, and construction trades were looking to enhance their programs, they naturally looked to Tri-Rivers.
A dozen SHCC instructors took their own field trip to Marion on March 10 for a day of professional development. They observed best practices and talked with Tri-Rivers instructors about ways to move their programs forward. The group of professionals spent the day trading ideas and knowledge, with SHCC providing input to their colleagues at Tri-Rivers as well as learning from them.
These instructors are excited to bring their new ideas back to Woodsfield and start incorporating them into programs at Swiss Hills!
