The SHCC has broadened its Manufacturing Engineering program in 2021 with the addition of a new Innovation Center that includes new Fanuc Robots, CNC Mill and CNC Lathe machines, and a Chemical Operator training system.

The new equipment provides students the opportunity to obtain certifications in CNC Machining and Robotic Operation, which go along with the National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) and Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) certificate programs available. The inclusion of these certificates into the Manufacturing Engineering program make Swiss Hills graduates even more desirable employees for the manufacturing industry.

Adult education certification is now a viable option at SHCC with the addition of the Chemical Operator trainer. Future adult certification courses are being planned for robotics, CNC operation, and manufacturing maintenance. For more information, please contact SHCC at 740-472-0722.
