Cosmetology students prepare for state test

Cosmetology students at SHCC are working hard to prepare for their state board test. This test evaluates what students have learned through their cosmetology courses in order to license them as cosmetologists by the Ohio State Cosmetology Board. According to Career School Now, careers in cosmetology are growing faster than average, expecting to reach a 10% employment outlook by 2024.
Swiss Hills students have the opportunity to earn industry credentials while completing the requirements for high school graduation. In addition to saving parents and students time and money, this gives SHCC students a step up on the competition when they enter the job market.
