Beallsville observes Veterans Day with a virtual program
This year, due to COVID-19, Beallsville Schools will be celebrating Veterans Day virtually on Tuesday, November 10. The program will be livestreamed from the Beallsville School Facebook page at 9:00 am. Veterans have been invited to watch together at the East Sunbury Baptist Church; following the assembly, the Church will serve the veterans lunch.
The eight Beallsville student council members will also participate, while following all safety precautions. The student council members will be helping to set up, tear down, and speak during the assembly. The church has also invited veterans to attend, but we have no confirmation how many will or will not attend the program.
Join our veterans and Beallsville community in watching the Veteran’s Day program as a way of honoring America’s veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good. While the program cannot be in-person this year, it will be easy for anyone to be part of honoring our veterans from the comfort of their living room.
